Refrigeration Project Design and Management

From first requirement to commissioned system, under one project team.

Cold storage projects combine insulation, refrigeration, electrical work, controls and building interfaces, often on tight programmes. LEOTECH manages refrigeration and cold storage projects on a turnkey basis: defining the requirement, designing the system, supplying and installing it, supervising the works and commissioning it before handover.

How a LEOTECH project runs

  1. Define the requirement. We review what you need to store or process, the temperatures, throughput, site and programme.
  2. Design. Our engineers prepare the room layout, heat load calculations, refrigeration configuration, panel and door specification, and controls.
  3. Supply. Panels, doors and rack systems are manufactured or sourced to the approved design, and equipment is procured.
  4. Installation. Our technical teams build the rooms and install refrigeration, piping, electrical and control systems.
  5. Supervision. Engineers supervise the works for quality, safety and coordination with other trades on site.
  6. Commissioning. The system is tested, brought down to temperature and checked against the design before handover.
  7. Maintenance. After handover, Service & Maintenance supports the installation.

What this means for your project

  • One point of responsibility for design and installation, which makes gaps between trades easier to avoid.
  • Design based on how you operate, including loading patterns, door use and future expansion.
  • Coordinated delivery of rooms, plant and controls designed to work together.
  • A commissioned, tested system rather than separately supplied parts.

Projects we design and manage

  • Walk-in chillers and freezers
  • Industrial cold rooms and cold stores
  • Blast freezers and chillers
  • Banana ripening chambers
  • Centralised refrigeration and rack systems
  • Supermarket and hypermarket refrigeration
  • Centralised monitoring and control systems

Why LEOTECH

LEOTECH has delivered refrigeration and cold storage projects since 1996 from its base in Ajman. Because it manufactures panels and builds rack systems itself, design decisions can be carried through to supply with fewer hand-offs between suppliers.

Frequently asked questions

What does a turnkey refrigeration project include?

Design, supply, installation, supervision and commissioning of the complete system, handed over ready to operate.

What happens during commissioning?

The system is started, pulled down to its design temperatures and checked: pressures, controls, alarms, door heaters and temperature stability. Settings are adjusted before handover.

Which components does LEOTECH make itself?

LEOTECH manufactures insulated panels and cold rooms and builds rack systems. Other equipment is sourced to the approved design.

How early should we involve you?

As early as possible. Plant room space, power supply and floor insulation are easier to plan before building works are fixed.
